A good example of a golden oak fold-over card table dating from the mid 19th Century. It stands on elegant turned and reeded legs on brass castors. The top swivels and then opens out into a large card table with a green felt covering. There is a storage area below the top, accessed when the top swivels.
It is in excellent condition for its age and displays well with a lovely rich colour. There are some minor signs of age and use, some light surface marks and knocks and a small chip on one foot but nothing untoward or detrimental and the felt surface is in good order. The table is strong and sturdy and it has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
