About Us
In A Nutshell was founded in 2014. We sell a variety of antiques and interior pieces, covering a wide range of eras and styles. Every piece we sell is carefully selected for its style, quality, originality and character.
Our shop is situated in the historic Dartmoor town of Ashburton in the beautiful Devon countryside. You can visit us 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm
We work with private customers, trade buyers and interior designers. If you're working on a project and are looking for certain items please get in touch with us - we have large store rooms and we are out on the road buying every week.
An integral part of our business is our workshop. We pride ourselves on the quality of the pieces we sell and every item we sell is meticulously checked and sympathetically restored so you can be sure it is ready for the home.
With over 40 years experience we cover every aspect of restoration from traditional French polishing to colouring, wood turning, metal work and upholstery.
Buying Service
