A lovely example of a large haberdashery or display unit dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It is made of mahogany and has six sections with 'up and over' sliding doors. The top 5 are glazed and the bottom is a solid panel. Each section has its original brass handle and the whole piece stands on square tapering feet. It is a good quality piece and very well made.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It is not without some minor marks and knocks and a couple of old repairs but no major damages or anything detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
