A good quality chest of drawers dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century with a mahogany top and front and oak sides. It has an arrangement of 3 small drawers over 3 long drawers and each drawer has brass plate handles. The chest has attractive canted and reeded corners and stands on bracket feet.
They are in good condition for their age and display well. They have been cleaned and polished and have a lovely rich colour and good patina. There are signs of age and use, some marks and knocks, small splits and a couple of old repairs but no major damages or anything detrimental. The drawers themselves are generally clean and tidy inside and open smoothly.
