A beautiful mahogany bow fronted chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely patina and attractive flame mahogany drawer fronts. It stands on bracket feet and the drawers have brass plate handles.
It is in good condition for its age and has been beautifully polished. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual small signs of wear, some minor marks on the top, a couple of old repairs and a small chip to the corner of one drawer but nothing detrimental. There are some signs of historic worm in the drawers which has all been treated as a precaution.
