Product Details

A very useful stripped pine sideboard dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. There are 3 drawers, each with cast metal cup handles and to the right of the drawers is a cupboard with panelled door which opens to reveal a shelved interior. It stands on turned bun feet and has a lovely planked top which has slightly sagged in the middle over time! The drawers open smoothly and the drawers and cupboards are generally clean and tidy inside.

It is in good condition and the pine has a lovely warm colour. It has been gently cleaned and has a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks here and there and a few small knocks and marks and old repairs but nothing untoward or detrimental. It would have probably had a small upstanding or shelving unit on the top at some point and there are a couple of square holes in the top which have been filled. Overall it displays very nicely and is ready for use.
