A lovely oak wall cupboard dating from the early to mid 18th century, most likely originally used as a spice cupboard. It has a panelled door with inlaid crossbanded decoration. It has a small brass knob and a brass escutcheon and comes with a working key. The door opens to a shelved interior with three small drawers below. The drawers have crossbanded borders with small brass ring pull handles.
It is in good original condition with a wonderful rich patina. There are some signs of age and use, some small chips and knocks but no major damages and overall it displays very well. There have been some historic repairs but nothing untoward. It has been cleaned and given a gentle polish and is ready for use.
