A fine example of a large hand painted Moorcroft dish in the popular 'Hibiscus' design. The dish displays very well and is unmistakably Moorcroft. The pattern is set on a mottled blue/green background and shows beautiful tubelined flower in shades of red and yellow amongst green leaves.
The dish has its original paper label which dates it to around the 1930s/1940s.
Approximate Measurements :
Diameter : 8 1/2" (22cm)
Height : 1 1/4" (3cm)
The dish is in excellent condition and is a good example of an early Moorcroft piece. There are no chips, cracks or restoration and the colours are bright and vibrant.
