A good example of a solid Sterling Silver shaker pot, most likely a pounce pot. It is a good quality piece in a campana urn form with floral border and round foot. It has a pierced shaker top and a gilded interior. It weighs approximately 75g.
The hallmark is slightly rubbed but still visible and it is marked for London, 1834 although I cannot distinguish the maker.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some minor dinks and light surface marks around the body and a small dent near the finial but overall it displays well and the interior gilding is still bright. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
