Superb example of a genuine vintage Hard-Sided LV Suitcase with monogrammed and embossed materials, leather trim and brass details.
This suitcase has got it all. A gorgeous aged patina and all the quality you'd expect from Louis Vuitton. There are the remains of an old travel label on one side which adds a bit of character to the case and an applied red band. The latches are stamped LV and the lock is stamped "Patent. Louis Vuitton. Made in France. 70 Champs Elysees. Paris. 069041".
Inside the case is lined with cream canvas and has its original Louis Vuitton retail label. It is likely there would have been an interior tray but that is not now with the case.
Overall the case is in excellent condition. There are small scuffs and marks and signs of wear on the outside of the case but nothing major that detracts from its appeal. Inside is generally clean and tidy with some minor stains and marks (the dark spots on the inside are rain drops as it started to spit as I was taking the last few photos! These have now gone). The latches all work well however I do not have a key.
