A lovely leather covered Jewellery box, dating from the early 20th Century. The outer of the box is covered in red leather with a metal carrying handle and matching key escutcheon. Inside, the box is fully lined with red silk and plush red velvet and has a fitted lift out trays with various sections for rings, bracelets, watch etc and two sections below the tray for storing larger pieces. It comes with its original working key and the lock is stamped 'Secure Lock. English Make. Patent No.9538'.

The box is in good condition for its age. It has been used but well looked after and has retained its natural aged look. The outer has some small age related knocks and scuffs but no major damages. Inside is generally clean and tidy and overall it displays very well and is certainly a nice usable item.
