Fantastic vintage car mascot, now mounted on a good quality plinth base. I believe it dates from the early to mid 20th century. The maker is unknown and it is unsigned apart from 'COPYRIGHT' which is stamped on the base, but it is of excellent quality and a very nice example.
It looks to be either chromed or nickel plated and it has a lovely finish. The jockey is over-painted in traditional red and yellow colours with white trousers and hat and black boots. The figure is superbly well made with lots of detail and a good amount of age.
It is in excellent condition. Some of the paint on the jockey has flaked and there are some small dinks and light signs of wear / tarnishing as can only be expected but there is no major damage and it displays beautifully.
