A lovely vintage globe dating from the mid 20th century. It stands on a turned wood pedestal base with a chrome axis. The globe has the makers' stamp "Dr. Neuse. Columbus Globe".
It was originally manufactured in Germany and then sold in England.
It is in good condition for its age. The globe has been lightly cleaned to preserve its original aged patina and is ready for display. The turned stand is in good order and the globe spins freely on its axis. There is some minor wear to the surface of the globe - some light scuffs, fading and small areas which have rubbed over the years but nothing detrimental or untoward for a globe of this age. Overall it has a beautiful aged patina and displays well.
