A nice example of a carved giltwood table lamp dating from the early to mid 20th century. It is a classical design with acanthus and swag decoration and it stands on lions paw feet. It has been rewired to modern standards to take a standard bayonet bulb.
The lamp is in good condition and is strong and sturdy. It has been repainted at some point and there are some minor signs of age and wear but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
