A lovely walnut writing desk dating from the late 19th century. It is a stylish piece with an overhanging top and carved brackets below. It has a single drawer with turned knobs and it stands on turned tapering legs with ceramic castors.
It is a nice compact size, perfect as a side table or a small desk.
It is in very good condition for its age and is generally clean and tidy throughout. The drawer opens smoothly and the table moves well on its castors. There are normal signs of light wear and age and a few minor marks and knocks but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
