A superb Victorian walnut credenza of small proportions, dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It is excellent quality with an attractive shape, beautiful curved glass end panels and pretty ormolu mounts and rope twist beading.
It comes with its original key and the glazed door opens to reveal two internal shelves. At some point the interior has been lined with a good quality white fabric. There is also a small internal light.
It is in excellent condition and the walnut has developed a wonderful patina. There are some signs of age and use, some minor marks and a few old chips and splits but no major damages or anything untoward. It has been thoroughly cleaned and gently polished and displays beautifully.
