Good example of a large antique riveted copper boiler dating from the late 19th Century. Most likely originally used as an industrial boiler or measure, it is the perfect size for a log bin or planter. Excellent quality with a riveted seam and riveted detail around the bottom. It also has two lions head handles and three small lions paw feet. The rim is stamped '8.H. Tested'
It is in good original condition and there are no damages, splits or holes. There are some minor dinks and dents but nothing detrimental. It has retained its wonderful original verdigris patina and has been very lightly cleaned so as to preserve this lovely colour.
