A lovely antique spice box dating from the late 19th Century. It has six internal compartments and its original nutmeg grater in the centre. It has a black painted finish with a closing latch on the front.
It has been well used and has developed a lovely aged patina. The paint has flaked and rubbed in places however the hinges are strong and the spice compartments are in good order. Overall it displays beautifully and is certainly usable too.
