A lovely antique spice box, with six internal compartments. It has a black painted finish with remains of gilt detailing. It has a closing latch on the front and small metal handle on the top.
It has been well used and has developed the most beautiful aged patina. The paint has rubbed and worn in places and there is a small dent on the base however the hinges are strong and the spice compartments are in good order. Overall it displays beautifully and is certainly usable too.
