A lovely antique spice box, with six compartments and it's original nutmeg grater in the centre. It has a black painted finish and the interior has been painted in a pale green. It has a closing latch on the front.
It has been well used and has developed a nice aged patina. The paint has worn in places and it has been repainted at some point in its life. The hinges are strong and the spice compartments are in good order. Overall it displays well and is certainly usable too.
