A beautiful pine chest of drawers dating from late 19th Century. The pine has a lovely warm colour and it is a good large size offering plenty of storage. Each drawer has its original turned knob and it stands on turned bun feet.
They are in good condition for their age. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks, minor knocks and a few old splits but nothing detrimental. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are some signs of historic worm here and there, particularly in one back foot, but it has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. They have been cleaned and given a gentle wax and are ready for use.
