A lovely pine chest of drawers dating from late 19th Century. The pine has a lovely warm colour and a smooth waxed finish. Each drawer has a turned wooden knob and brass escutcheon and it stands on turned bun feet. It is a nice small size while still offering plenty of storage in three long drawers.
They are in very good condition for their age. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks, minor knocks and a few old splits but nothing detrimental. There are some minor signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. They have been cleaned and given a gentle wax and are ready for use.
