A beautiful pine chest of drawers dating from late 19th Century. The pine has a lovely mellow colour and it is a good large size offering plenty of storage. Each drawer has its original white ceramic knob and it stands on a plinth base.
They are in very good condition for their age. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks, minor knocks and a few old splits but nothing detrimental. There are some minor signs of historic worm in one side which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. They have been cleaned and given a gentle wax and are ready for use.
