Good example of an antique tavern stool dating from the mid 19th Century. It stands on ring turned windsor style legs with crossed stretchers. It has a solid fruitwood top with a lovely dished shape.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are signs of age and use, some general knocks and marks here and there and an old repair to one leg but it is strong and sturdy. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
