A good quality and very decorative still life oil on canvas featuring cherries and pears. It is signed with a monogram and dated 1891. It is framed behind glass in its original silver gilt frame with a paper label on the reverse for "J.Pratt Picture Frame Manufacturers, Nottingham".
The painting is in good original condition. There are some minor signs of age and some light surface marks but nothing detrimental. There are some minor losses and areas of wear around the frame but the gilding is original and is bright and displays well.
