Product Details

A good example of an early Victorian Solid Silver tea caddy spoon with a distinctive large shell shaped ribbed spoon and short handle. The end of the handle is engraved with scrolling initials. The spoon is good quality, weighing approximately 20g and measuring approximately 3 1/2" (9cm) long.

It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1844 and the maker E.E, possibly Edward Edwards.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks and dinks here and there but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
