A fine example of a Victorian solid Silver tankard with an elegant scrolling handle and beaded rim. It has beautiful engraved decoration without any initials or personalisation. The tankard is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 286g.
It is clearly hallmarked for J.W, London, 1867.

It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint internal marks and a few light surface marks and some dinks around the foot (see photo) but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
