Product Details

A lovely example of an antique solid sterling silver box profusely decorated with repousse leaves, berries and garlands. It has a central shield shaped cartouche which is engraved "M de la C C". It is a good quality piece with a gilt lined interior and it weighs approximately 158g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1898 and the maker Deakin & Francis.

It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It has picked up some small knocks and minor surface marks and there is a small dink on one edge but no major damages and it displays beautifully. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
