A lovely antique cut glass marmalade pot with a solid silver top and collar. The pot is excellent quality with hobnail cut glass and a star cut base. It has a hinged lid with a shell shaped thumb press to open it and a slot for the spoon. There is a faint engraved family crest of a bird on the top.
It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1894 and the maker Henry Manton.
It is in very good condition for its age. The silver is in good condition. There are no cracks or major damages to the glass just some minor small surface nibbles. It has been cleaned and the silver gently polished and overall it displays very well.
