A good example of an antique Sterling Silver sugar bowl with two handles. It is decorated with unusual heart shaped motifs. The bowl is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 94g.
It is hallmarked for Sheffield, 1896 and the maker George Wish. The mark is quite worn but still readable and we also have the matching cream jug with a slightly better mark.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks, small dinks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
