A good example of a small sterling silver bowl with a decorated gadrooned band around the middle and a wavy rim. Most probably a sugar bowl, it is stylish and good quality and weighs approximately 62g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1890 and the makers Stokes and Ireland.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some light internal marks and a few light surface marks and some minor dinks but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
