A good example of an antique leather stamp box with a solid silver frame. It is a sloped design to make the stamps easier to access and the lid has a half penny stamp within the frame.
It is clearly hallmarked for Charles Penny Brown, Birmingham, 1900.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. The are signs of age and use and some wear and minor losses to the leather around the corners and edges and some faint surface marks on the silver frame but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
