A good example of a solid Sterling Silver pepper shaker. It is a stylish and good quality piece ornately decorated with swirling repousse designs and a small finial on top. It weighs approximately 30g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1891 although the makers mark is a little bit rubbed.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
