A good example of a solid Sterling Silver pepper shaker. It is a stylish and good quality piece on a square foot with a domed pierced top. It weighs approximately 32g.
It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1899 although the makers mark is rubbed.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and minor dinks but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
