A good example of a solid Sterling Silver pepper shaker. It is a stylish and good quality piece of cylindrical form with a pointed finial and pierced top. It is decorated with repousse work and weighs approximately 39g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Chester, 1900 and the maker Vale Brothers & Sermon.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and minor dinks around the inside rim but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
