A good example of a small globular match holder with a solid silver rim. The holder itself is ceramic with a rough finish to enable striking and the hole in the top is to store the matches.
The silver rim is clearly hallmarked for Eustace George Parker, Birmingham, 1897.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dents and surface marks on the silver rim and general signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
