A good quality large sterling silver napkin ring. It has an attractive quatrefoil shape and is beautifully decorated with floral designs. It is believed to be a Christening item and is in a lovely fitted presentation box.
It is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield, 1890 and the maker John Round. It weighs approximately 35g.
It is in very good condition. There are some minor signs of age and use and a few faint surface marks but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
The box is good quality with a silk lining and fitted velvet base. The interior is clean and tidy and the retailer’s name is printed under the lid. There are some small scuffs and minor marks around the outside but nothing major and it displays well.
