Product Details

A fine example of a Victorian silver chamberstick. It is a stylish piece with a gadrooned border with shell crests around the tray, an arching handle and short candle holder with gadrooned rim. It stands on 4 small ball feet. It is a good quality piece made from good gauge silver, weighing approximately 103g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Josiah Williams & Co, London, 1899 on both the tray and candle holder. The maker's mark is slightly rubbed on the tray but very clear on the candle.

It is in very good condition. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
