A fine example of a late Victorian Silk Top Hat with felt band. The hat is silk lined and has the maker's mark for "Tress & Co London. Made Expressly for Woods Bros. 31 & 32 Whitefriargate, Hull".
The hat is in good condition and displays beautifully. There are some minor signs of age and use and some minor wear inside but nothing detrimental.
The inner circumference is approx 21 1/2" / 55cm which translates as a size 6 3/4.
