A lovely example of a small salon tub chair dating from the mid 19th Century. It has a nicely shaped button back with ebonised and gilt turned legs with its original Cope & Collinson brass castors. The chair has been recently upholstered in a good quality, stylish yellow fabric that compliments the chair.
The chair is in good overall condition. It runs well on its castors and is a good sturdy chair. There is one small mark on the upholstery on the top rail and a few general marks and small knocks around the legs but nothing detrimental.
