A superb Victorian ruby cut glass scent bottle with solid silver top and collar. The bottle is excellent quality with an ornate top, star-cut base and the deep ruby red glass is stunning. The collar is clearly hallmarked for Levi & Salaman, Birmingham, 1900.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some small dinks in the silver and some general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There are no cracks or major damages to the glass, just some minor small surface nibbles and one very small chip near the bottom (see photo). It does not have a stopper. It has been cleaned and the silver gently polished and overall it displays very well.
