A lovely pine side table dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It stands on turned tapering legs and has two drawers. The table has retained its original painted finish in a lovely pale cream colour with brown highlights and a smooth waxed finish.
It is in good original condition and is strong and sturdy. There are general signs of age and use, some surface marks and stains and some paint loss on the top and light knocks and chips around the legs. There are signs of historic woodworm, particularly around the bottom of the legs, which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected it structurally or aesthetically.
It is rare to find a table so original. It has been cleaned and lightly polished to keep it as original as possible and is ready for use.
