A lovely antique pine dresser dating from the late 19th century. The base has two cupboard doors, each with small ceramic knobs, that open to a shelved interior. The top part of the dresser is set back and has two glazed doors opening to reveal two generous sized shelves. These top doors come with their original working key. It is a good quality piece standing on bun feet with decorative columns flanking the lower doors and attractive carved detailing above the glazing.
It splits into two parts for transport and can be fixed together with four small screws.
It is in good original condition throughout and the pine has a lovely warm colour. It has been gently cleaned and polished and has a nice smooth waxed finish. It is not without some signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks and a minor old shrinkage split in one panel but no major damages or anything detrimental.
