A large pine farmhouse dining table dating from the late 19th century. It has a planked top with breadboard ends and it stands on turned tapering legs. The top is a nice warm colour with a lovely patina and the legs have a traditional darker finish.
It is a good large size, comfortably seating 6-8 people. The base has been altered by removing the drawers to enable a good practical height to sit at with ample leg clearance of 24"(61cm) all the way around.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are lots of signs of age and use on the top surface with marks, cuts and some signs of historic worm creating a wonderful patina with lots of character without any major damages or anything detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
