A lovely Victorian farmhouse table dating from the late 19th Century. It has a pine planked top and stands on turned legs with a single drawer. The legs have the original dark painted finish and the pine top has a lovely mellow colour and nice aged patina.
It is a good size, big enough to seat 4-6 comfortably, and a good height to sit at with ample leg clearance of 24 1/2" (62cm) all the way around.
There are various signs of age and use and some old repairs but it is in good condition and is strong and sturdy. There are signs of old woodworm in the base of the drawer which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the table structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and lightly waxed and is ready for use.
