A good example of a small antique pine dresser dating from the mid to late 19th century. The base contains an arrangement of seven drawers above a small central cupboard and it stands on turned bun feet. It has a thick pine top and each drawer has a turned wooden knob.
The dresser has as open plate rack with four small spice drawers. The rack is not original to the base but has been extremely well made and matches the base well.
The dresser is a very rustic country piece but it is in good condition for its age. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside with a few old marks and stains. It is not without some old repairs and signs of age and use, some marks on the top surface and some knocks and scuffs here and there but this has all helped to build up a beautiful patina. There are no major damages and it is strong and sturdy. The dresser has been given a thorough clean and gentle wax polish and is ready for use.
