A lovely pine chest of drawers dating from late 19th Century with their original stained finish. They are a good large size and offer plenty of storage. Each drawer has its original turned knob and they stand on turned bun feet. The chest is very original and has the lovely original 'red oxide' wash finish.
They are in good condition for their age. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks, minor splits and knocks and some slight wear to the finish but nothing detrimental. There are some signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. They have been cleaned and given a gentle wax and are ready for use.
