A fabulous Victorian photo album dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It is bound in good quality leather with a decorative grained and embossed gothic style cover and the 16 individual pages are gilt edged. There are various different photo windows cut into the pages and the book is partly filled with original family portraits.
The book is in excellent condition for its age. The outer cover is in good order with minimal wear. There are some minor marks and scuffs but no major damages and the gilt edges are bright. The interior is generally clean and tidy with no major tears or creases and the spine is strong. There are some areas of discolouration but overall it displays very well.
