A good Victorian oak window seat or hall bench dating from the late 19th century. It has scroll ends with turned roundels on each side and it stands on attractive turned legs. It is in good solid order and a good size, perfect for a hall or window bay.
It is in good condition with a lovely rich patina. There are signs of age and use, some surface marks and light knocks and a couple of small chips around the edges but nothing detrimental and it is strong and sturdy and displays well. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
