A beautiful oak desk chair dating from the late 19th Century. It is a good comfortable chair with a solid oak frame and deep upholstered seat. It has a curved upholstered back supported by turned spindles. It stands on four splayed oak legs terminating in castors and the chair swivels all the way around on the base.
It is in very good condition for its age and is structurally very sound and swivels smoothly. It is not without a few small marks and knocks here and there but nothing untoward for a chair of this age. The upholstery is not new and the fabric does have a couple of small marks but no major damages and displays well as it is or the chair could be easily recovered.
It is approximately 33" (84cm) high and the arms are 22" (56cm) wide. It is approximately 21" (53cm) deep and the seat is 18" (46cm) high.
